random observations:

Agree that Todd is a future corpse.

The railcar robbery caper has so many holes - but I'll single out the pit-crew precision.

I don't think the ricin will be used for Skylar, in that it works too slowly and she'll have too much time to talk before succumbing.

I didn't see Saul or Huell, what are they up to?

Did I see 3 grown men try to push a loaded dump truck up hill over the tracks?

The've used a child to kill Combo at the end of an episode, and then that child was killed at the end of an episode.

They're obviously going somewhere with the "hazard pay" Mike has to pay everyone. Can't believe that won't pay off at some point, as much as they've mentioned it.

The train crew would have left the locomotive idling. They never turn those things off if they are on the road. It would probably have been loud enough to drown out the generator. It wasn't heard in the show due to the writers wanting us to better hear the conversations.

My thought was Walt would have Todd start offing Mike's guys like Lydia was going to since he hates paying for Gus' old operation. Then I remembered most if not all of those guys are locked up.

I'm with you though, that hazard pay is a big disagreement between Walt and Mike and will have some impact later.

A good point: Walt keeps acting like his operation is sustainable. That he's safe now that Gus is dead. And you know what? It might be as it currently stands. If it weren't for the fact that he's such a greedy, egotistical douchebag who is going to push the limits, do something stupid, piss off the wrong person, or in some other way put the whole thing in jeopardy.

Water pump.

It was 900+ feet away, in a depression.

God, yes. Such a brilliantly-paced/plotted/acted/shot/etc. show.

I know what it is used for. I have a gas generator and the sumbitch is LOUD. You probably hear the thing a MILE away. Literally. Since they're in the middle of nowhere with little background noise then it should have been clearly audible when they turned it on. The only plausible explanation is the engine drowned it out but it wasnt making any noise when they were working on the truck

This. It's a technical hole, but not a storyline hole.

Was Jesse drinking a beer in an earlier episode? I don't know addicts that aren't in some type of recovery that don't relapse especially when grabbing a brew. This will probably cause him to hit the drugs again. Also remember when he was denied a shot earlier in the series because he was an "Addict" seems like they wanted to keep it real with addicts and alcohol at that point so I wonder if they will keep it real now.

For what its worth, I've encountered plenty of meth addicts and opioid addicts in recovery who could do social drinking with no problems.
