I fear this may be true, but hope the Chiefs find a way to win a game in which Big Ben will have a chip on his shoulder...

First loss. Pittsburgh has our number right now and their game last Sunday was a fluke. Bell's gonna run all over us, Brown's gonna push 200 receiving, and we're going to turn the ball over trying to keep up without Kelce. I hope it's close but I have a feeling it won't be. The better team (and I think we are...) doesn't always win, and I just don't like the way this one is lining up.

Don't feel good about it. Steelers being so bad last week seems likely to be followed with a big bounce-back. Plus seems like we never beat them.

Alex Smiff sneaks around and quick kicks for a point, as we use canadian rules for 1 play.
KC 1 Pit 0

The same referee from the Chiefs playoff game will be refereeing the Chiefs game this Sunday.

I'm not sure why I'm not sold on the Chiefs yet. The old saying of Burn me Once... Don't get fooled again? comes to mind. Last year, the Chiefs were in bad situation on the D line in the playoffs and the regular season game was just a disaster that kept getting worse.
That said... Chiefs 30 - 18 |

There's a new sheriff in the AFC. Chiefs make another statement in a big way:
Chiefs 38, Steelers 10 |

Chiefs by 14 ..get up early, and Hunt pisspounds them in the fourth.
When they got throttled last year, at home IIRC, we played them there the following week. This game is at Arrowhead. I think the momentum carries on..and makes another HUGE statement to the league. |
