I really don't care. As long as he never plays another down for the Chiefs, that is all that matters.

Of course it's wrong. Never associate with anyone who would think it's okay.

But it's good to cheer for Brady Quinn. That can be a fine line to walk in terms of timing.

When I saw him down, my first post was "yesss!" not b/c he was hurt but b/c I knew he would get out of the game. We ran the ball to perfection which is supposed to open the passing game except Cassel can't pass, and the org refused to replace him.

We don't love this game b/c we get to see people get hurt, but we also aren't respectful apologists for what is a laughable "professional" organization.
A high school player died just a couple of days ago after making a hit, being injured on the field, walking off the field and collapsing on the sideline. We don't know what is going in players body so for us to watch and claim that a hit wasn't that hard or a player didn't look 'that hurt' is really irresponsible. It was a heart issue that killed the SC player but other times it's been a severe concussion.

Your histrionics are almost as irritating as Cassel's ineptitude.

Putting aside the whole "cheering for Cassel to get hurt thing," this team's psyche is way too fragile and the head coach is way too accepting of "good" losses.

They have to bench Cassel. He has regressed every week and is now causing the coaches to play not to lose, even when the other team has more points.

And things like that get noticed across the league, by other players, potential FAs, etc
.

And yet, Philly, NY, SF, OAK have no trouble getting players to come and sign. Hmmm.. Could it be that they actually try to win? Maybe? Or maybe we don't ask our FA's to try to win? Perhaps we just ask them to be "complimentary" and almost win, like Hermi-O.

And that has exactly DICK to do with what happened today. Unless the kid died from cheering from the crowd when he got up and walked off the field.

And make no mistake - the narrative this week will be on what a crappy bunch of fans there are at Arrowhead, when in reality they had finally had enough. Winston's been around for five games of this debacle, so maybe he's just unaware of the problem, but instead of focusing on moving on from the "Cassel Error" as another poster aptly put it, we're instead going to be hearing about what great losers the Chiefs are and how the fans are a bunch of backwater numbskulls incapable of differentiating between an overwhelming desire to never have to see Cassel take a snap for the Chiefs again and Cassel getting his brains scrambled.

I was elated when I saw that Quinn was in, and that was before I knew why he was in there (I refuse to support the quarterbacking trainwreck known as Matt Cassel any longer and no, that doesn't make me a bad fan, so I wasn't watching it live). But I also didn't really care why. I don't want dude to get his eggs scrambled, but as a fan of the team I do want them to put the best product out there that they can and Cassel is probably one of the worst QBs in the NFL today.

Yes it was ****ing wrong. It was a perfect storm, it should've never gotten to this. The front office and coaching staff should've taken him out a game ago, maybe sooner.

Wishing injury on a player is bullshit honestly. Winston doesn't know shit though about what this fanbase has gone through...that said everyone wants Cassel out and it shouldn't have taken an injury to have that done, again.

Right. I mean, players care for each other. They don't try to blow other QBs up, or have bounties or anything. I'm sure the Ravens would be sad for knocking Tom Brady out of a game. #hypocrisy

Arrowhead was rocking there after Cassel went down. Big MO switched over to the Chiefs and crowd was into. It was a mini version of the 90s crowd for just a little bit.
