2007: LJ could be out a while. Possible long term injury?

Consider this a rumor.
Again I'm not saying this is fact but someone who has told me medical "stuff" about Chiefs players in the past and it has turned out to be true told me this.

LJ has a garden variety sprained ankle but thats not worrying the Chiefs or LJ.

They think its his foot thats is the real concern and specifically worst case scenerio Plantar Fasciitis or a pulled ligment in the foot. It happened when LJ tryed to pull on his foot when it was under Hawk and stretched that muscle on the bottom of his foot and in the arch. It could take 3-4 weeks of rest or in rare cases to a year to recover. But until the swelling goes down they won't know for sure.

Again just FYI passing it along.

Some Ibuprofen and ice will do that. I knew he wasn't going to play when I saw the replay. I get so tired of the soap opera bs.

According to our Chiefs medical staff and its most recent evaluation of Larry Johnson last evening (Wednesday, November 7), Larry has made significant improvement with less swelling and pain in his injured right foot. His status will be re-evaluated again early next week with further exams and tests. His status for this week is doubtful to out.

Welcome back, my friends
to the show that never ends.
We're so glad you could attend!
Come inside! Come inside!

There behind a glass
stands a real blade of grass
be careful as you pass.
Move along! Move along!

Come inside, the show's about to start
guaranteed to blow your head apart
Rest assured you'll get your money's worth
The greatest show in Heaven, Hell, or Earth
(Chorus)
You've got to see the show, it's a dynamo.
You've got to see the show, it's rock and roll

Right before your eyes,
We'll pull laughter from the skies
And he laughs until he cries,
then he dies, then he dies

(repeat Chorus)

(Extended instrumental, mostly keyboard)

Soon the Gypsy Queen
in a glaze of Vaseline
Will perform on guillotine
What a scene! What a scene!
Next upon the stand
will you please extend a hand
to Alexander's Ragtime Band
Dixieland, Dixieland

Roll up! Roll up! Roll up!
See the show!

Performing on a stool
we've a sight to make you drool
Seven virgins and a mule
Keep it cool. Keep it cool.
We would like it to be known
the exhibits that were shown
were exclusively our own,
All our own. All our own.

Come and see the show!
Come and see the show!
Come and see the show!
See the show!

See the shoooowwwwwww!

Who cares what an Oakland fan has to say about the Chiefs current RB situation or LJ. You have a bunch of injury prone/sucky RBs and it doens't matter how many carries they have had.

Another attempt at deflection. Don't care if you like what I say or not but on this subject I'm telling you the truth(don't care if you can't handle it) and a FACT that every RB has been injured after 400 carries. Now whether that is related or not DIAPER BOY is injured this year after 400 carries.

What does the team records have to do with LJ getting injured after a 400 carry contract year?

While you're at it, don't stop there - he also missed most of TC.

How many of those 400 carry/season RB's were starters year 1 of their careers with at least 300 carries? How many were starters year 2 of their careers with at least 300 carries? Just the FACTS please...

Doesn't matter just that EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM SUFFERED AN INJURY THE NEXT YEAR. You guys struggle with that.

Why? Because Raider Fan says it doesn't? It sure does matter. Look it up - you might learn something. Here's a tip - more than 1 FACT can matter regarding a topic.

Example - Let's take your Raiders as a topic:

The Raiders $UCK - FACT
The Raiders have $UCKED for many years now - Also a FACT
Al Davis is an BROKEN OLD FART - FACT
See...
