We certainly wouldn't turn on the outsiders that come in and try to help us from the ledge. I think most KC fans if forced to would admit that your organization has upgraded your coaching and QB positions (even if just marginally, in your view). So why not take an optimistic approach about something? At least take a mature approach about anything.
