ESPN: Week 17 Studs 'n Duds
STUDS
Arian Foster, Running back, Houston Texans....... Foster opened the season with a bang (231 rushing yards versus Indianapolis). He finished it with a flourish. Foster rushed for 180 yards and two touchdowns in Houston's 34-17 victory over Jacksonville. Foster finished the season with 1,616 rushing yards, claiming the league's rushing title. Michael Bush, Running back, Oakland Raiders..... Filling in for the injured Darren McFadden, Bush gave the Raiders a steady ground attack in Kansas City. Bush rushed for 137 yards and one TD on 25 carries as Oakland dominated from the outset and won 31-10. At 8-8, the Raiders posted their best record since 2002. The Ravens' defense........ The Ravens' D continued its opportunistic ways on Sunday. The Ravens forced five turnovers, giving them nine in the last two weeks, in a 13-7 victory over Cincinnati. Ed Reed had two interceptions for the second straight week, and Ray Lewis recovered two fumbles. DUDS Matt Cassel, Quarterback, Kansas City Chiefs....... Cassel is going to the playoffs, but he finished the regular season on a sour note. Cassel completed only 11 of 33 passes for 115 yards and was picked off twice in Kansas City's loss. He was also sacked five times. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/s...studs10/week17 |

Shouldn't one of the "duds" be the Raiders going 6-0 in the division and NOT winning the division?

Q: What do the Titans, Cardinals, Texans, Niners, Dolphins, and Jags all have in common?
A: They all suck balls, they all failed to make the playoffs, and they all beat the Raiders. /thread |

The offensive line was awful, but Cassel was not good either. Shit happens. Previous weeks have earned him a 19.1 mulligan in a non-essential game.
