United Airlines Vouchers
When looking to book a flight on United Airlines today, I stumbled across a bunch of listings on eBay for $100 United Airlines vouchers. They were all listed for around $10-$15, so I was pretty skeptical but they would work. Even so, I figured it was probably worth the $10 to risk it once, so I went ahead and bought one and it worked like a charm! I bought another one for the wifey, and all in all I dropped the cost of our flight from $514.58 to $333.58 (including the costs of the vouchers)!
The tickets are now bought and confirmed, so I can't imagine them being any sort of a scam, but I still want to know what the deal is with these things. Where do they come from, and why do people on eBay have 50 of them available for sale? Anybody know? |
