Yeah, tell me about it.

Look at that amazing turnaround in St. Louis with Jeff Fisher.

And, no one was even interviewing Marc Trestman.

And Alex Smith was so much better on a terrible 9ers team than Drew Stanton was on a terrible Lions team.

Another Alex Smith thread. I just don't see how people are so confident that Alex Smith is an average QB at best in an Andy Reid offense. When I watch Chiefs games, I see an offense line that is perhaps the worst in the league at pass blocking. After series after series of O-line breakdowns, critics isolate a play or two that Smith missed, as if every other NFL QB would make the play after having been hurried all game.

The success of an NFL passing game is on more than just the QB. Right now, I give Smith an incomplete grade because of the O-line.

Trestman has the Bears at around .500/mediocrity… just what you cried about regarding Fisher.

And yes I stand by my preference of Fisher over Romeo, when this debate took place over who should be the Chiefs next HC, after the 2011 season.

But keep trying to spin your argument for Drew Stanton… it is quite funny and makes you look like an epic dumbshit (even more so than usual).

To put things in perspective… Blaine Gabbert has better career NFL #'s than Drew Stanton.

The talent is there. If the o line quits killing QB's the Lambs might end up a competitive team...

I simply pointed out the obvious stupidity of your statement.

Of course Wiegman had a football IQ.
That came from years of playing center on both the college and NFL level before he was signed by the Chiefs.

But there's a reason he was available as a free agent.
He didn't fit the more physical scheme of the Bears.

Rodney Hudson is playing his first full season at center at any level, in a scheme he doesn't fit.
I don't know that he'll ever amount to anything, but you said something really ****ing stupid, so I stated the obvious.
holy hell you are stubborn as ****

1) Rodney Hudson is in his 3rd season
2) he can't even execute basic blocking skills like leverage & hand combat
3) he isn't going to fit in any scheme because of his size and the fact he can't make it up through sound technique

-Wiegmann was polished by year three btw

He played a few games during 2011, played and went to IR last year, early, which allowed him the time to rehab and go full speed technique drills and then hit OTA/TC. I get that he is not the right size for this system, but he is struggling with basic blocking technique, not just assignments & run blocking. After three seasons, he should at least have decent honed basic skills of the position.

I don't give one **** what excuses you come up with, you are wrong about Hudson. There is no scheme that will hide his inability to execute basic blocking skills. none. he's ****ing terrible. get over it.

I fully expect NT Knighton, who is the same size Hudson is, to blow Hudson off the ball all night tonight. If he does, then you will perhaps understand my position here. if he doesn't, **** you anyway, milkytits.

You guys need Matt Schaub. He's a pretty poopy QB but leaps and bounds over Alice Smith.

Don't fret, I'm sure we will give up a couple second rounders for another castoff like Schaub before we draft and develop someone.

Rep!

The O-line is the weak link of the team and it was supposed to be a strong point. It's not just Fish either. At any given moment and usually a critical one, someone gets BLOWN UP and Smith has to scramble for his life. Not good for an already average QB.

I'm sorry; did you not observe Smith having several occasions of all damned day do to make a throw?
