At the end Walt and Jesse in the parking lot shaking hands. Really shows how much they mean to each other, yet neither one will ever admit it.

And The Wire fans can flame away, but for me, this is probably the best combination of writing and acting that I have seen.
That's fair, though Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul have roles that are far "juicier" than anyone in The Wire had. The acting on The Wire rarely calls attention to itself, but there are some Goddamned great performances. Cranston and Paul's BB performances ARE better than anything on The Wire but that's largely due to material.

I think the fact that every single great show gets compared to The Wire says something.

Very final finale. Makes you think they weren't sure they were coming back. I don't really remember any teases to anything that might be coming later, although I'm sure in retrospect things will stand out. I love how wide open it is now, and from how many directions the shit storm could be coming at Walt and Jesse. Is it the FBI, after Jesse's ricin scare? Is it somebody from Chile? Is it Hank? Because he's on to the laundry, and about 8 million people saw Jesse and Walt there. But will any of them talk? Would anybody listen if they did? What about Mike? And is Skyler going to go even fuller reerun now that she knows what Walt's capable of doing?

Love it when a show makes me go "wow" and leaves me with questions like that. It's a rarity.

This is what i have been doing lately. Im up to around the middle of season 2.

Ive also noticed that they have dropped the F bomb a few times in some episodes. Surely they dont let those fly on AMC during the original broadcasts? They must have a different edit.....thought that was interesting.

I've been too busy with work (well, and with testing SWTOR this weekend) to keep up with the thread. Barely found time to watch the episode.

I wish there was a Wire/vs Breaking bad spinnoff with Mcnulty investigating the meth case. Then of course that guy could come in and say. YOU THINK YOU GOT THE NUTZ FOR THIS CASE?

It kind of sucks knowing its going to end soon. But it's nice to know they aren't going to just put out shit just because people watch it.

It was never meant to go on forever. They have a story to tell, and they know exactly how many episodes they have left to tell it. That's awesome.

If it went on and on, it would ruin the series.

I love the idea. Too many shows go on too long and end up just dragging out the process. *cough*LOST*cough*
