All stats like this can do is show you trends. But you should not make a decision based on those stats, you need to look at the underling reasons and see if they apply in your case.

Take Mia for instance. Yes, they have a new head coach. They also have a new VP of football operations in future HOFer Bill Parcells who I consider one of the four brightest minds in football active today (the others being Bill Belichick, Ernie Adams and Scott Pioli). They also have a new GM Jeff Ireland. And a new QB.

Do you really think if all the Dolphins had done was fire Cam and hired Tony the team would have won the AFCE? Do you think that if Parcells had kept Cam but made all the other changes such as Ireland the team would have sucked?

I'd have to say anything that points to him being a good coach brings up the quote "lies, damn lies and statistics."
