Raiders Trade for Carson Palmer

Per Rotoworld, the Raiders are close to acquiring Carson Palmer.

On my phone, so no link, but what the hell do the Raiders have left to trade?

I think they would have won the west without your new QB. It will be interesting to see how long it takes to get him up to speed.

I'm more pissed that Denver is deliberately trading off players to A) sabotage Tebow B)tank season for Luck

it's going to be a real contest, between Miami and Denver, to see who is King of teh Suck for Andrew Luck.

A true godfather move by the Bengals would be this:

Spin the Raiders' first in 2012 and their own first in 2012 to Miami right now.

Then, if Miami finishes with the worst record they get Luck. If not, they get a top three pick rather than two picks in the mid teens to early 20s.

Agreed, but that is a very small percentage overall.

I disagree with some of my fellow Chiefs fans by thinking Palmer is a good pickup, but the price is what baffles me. Wow.

I am not happy with the price, really I am not but if we go 10-6 or better the qb's available to us would not be good anyway.... I think they are going to try to groom that Pryor kid for the future.

Why is Cassel at the top of your list? Even though you didn't go in order, i still don't know why you put him at the top....

Vince Young would have been a better pickup for the Raiders, IMO. They probably could have had him for a 2nd, and signed him cheap.
