This is the golden era of Chiefs football. Lets enjoy it more.

Yes, the sun did rise in the eastern hemisphere this morning.

It’s a gorgeous day here. The Palm trees frawns gently sway in the cool morning breeze. The birds and wildlife are now out relishing the blessing of another day granted to them by fate. If it’s cold, rainy, or snowing where you reside, it’s at minimum a new day where you are. A mental fresh start. Our Chiefs community is a diverse lot, but we all need to embrace the “it’s a new day” temperament. Put that lost opportunity of yesterday behind us.

Today on each show, YouTube channel and article you will be hearing or read about the crowning of the Eagles as the greatest team in the NFL. The SB favorites. They and their fans can enjoy their day on the throne. They were the better team last night. The intestinal fortitude to stay focused despite the very loud crowd. Salu and congrats.

Yes, we have been dropping balls all season. The WR unit is the worst we have ever had in the Mahomes era. Will they ruin Mahomes perfect throws and our festive moods again? The truth…Probably.

This is the bottom line. If the statistical law of averages is applied to the WR’s dropping balls that cost us the game and our happy moods, we should feel better.

The Eagles are the best team in football. If our receiver’s catch ½ those balls, we would have won the game. And everyone would again be asserting our attributes in their media world as the future SB champion favorites.

No SB winning team in 40+ years has won a SB without a few ugly warts and flaws. This year will be no different. We will have Home Field Advantage in the playoffs. This is not false fan hope. Football seasons are always a wild ride. Plenty of ups and downs to assault our sanities.

The first thing we need to ensure is let that WR performance roll off our backs. Mahomes and Reid have demonstrated a track record over the last five years. They will get us on the right track by the playoffs. Let’s enjoy this ride. Right here, right now we are living in the golden era of Chief football. That’s pretty cool for us Chief fans.

Now, let’s move on and go take out some frustrations on the Raiders this week.

No thanks. I'd rather be miserable and cuss out our JAG receivers.

If our defense wasn't amazing I wouldn't care as much. We are losing a bunch of guys from that unit next year and likely will take a huge step back. If we had even average NFL receivers we are possibly 10-0 right now, 9-1 at worst.

This is the best overall roster of the Mahomes era, and it very well could be wasted because of these useless shitbag WRs. It's upsetting.

The defense will likely be worse next year but the offense may be better. Should be at WR even with Kelce one year older.

Just the way the NFL works. It'd be great if we had an elite offense and an elite defense, but how many teams have ever done that?

Probably losing Jones and either Gay or Sneed. I believe Tranquil returns. Losing 2 starters isn't what I would call the definition of "a bunch of guys."

Good chance you lose both Sneed and Jones if you're looking to improve the offense, and those are gaping holes left by two of the best defensive players at their position in football. You're also probably losing Danna and Gay as you mentioned. That's a lot of productivity.

The chances of them repeating this year's defensive effort are pretty slim. Not saying they can't be good, but they are truly special this year. It's rare to see in this day and age and I just hate to see it go to waste.

Seems to be a case of "misery loves company" with some of our fans - we all know who they are.

I'm enjoying it plenty. The dropped balls, turnovers, penalties, etc are maddening though.

I feel like I'm playing Madden. The best QB ever, hitting receivers in the facemask and none can catch anything. I'm stellar, but the game keeps repeatedly ****ing me just because.

I get a little irritated when people insist we can't be critical anymore. I mean obviously it's been an amazing run, and I don't take it for granted for one second. I never in my life thought I would witness what we've seen.

However, with success comes expectations, that's just how it goes. So to see our WRs ruining entire games for us gets a little old.

It's not just the WR's. Kelce, Bell and co have been putting forth their fair share of fisting efforts, too.
