I doubt it. What if Belichick didn't bench Welker?

The revisionist history about how getting rid of him "opened up their offense" was ****ing bullshit from the beginning. He took the top off the D, and the Jets showed today what you can do against shitty receivers who can't beat 1 on 1 coverage or stretch the field vertically.
Their rookie TEs, save for one seam route to Gronkowski, were a complete non-factor as well.

Not sure if they would have won, but his big play ability would have certainly helped today.

If the Randy Moss that gave 100% on the field, and torched Darrelle Revis with a seemingly effortless one handed td grab in week 2 showed up, this is probably a different game.

While he might have made some good plays, he still would have needed Brady to get him the ball. It's tough to do that while on your back.

If Moss is playing you never know from play to play if he is going to give you his best.
His game has always been "I'll try if I know the ball is coming my way"! Moss = Obama = It's all about me |
