7 new players: who is the best?

Who do you think makes the most immediate impact?
Who has the most upside?
Do you hate any of them?

we turned over more than 10% of our roster in a day, and only a week before the season starts...can't remember anything quite like it

There has never been a Chiefs FO operate this way that actually will improve our team that I can remember

Maybe these guys aren't significantly better. Maybe thy are only slightly better. Maybe they just have the potential to be better. But even a modicum of improvement is worth it.

Powe, for as fun and mentally disabled as he was, is not going to be a star in this league, and was barely performing when he was on the field. He was a non-factor.

Dorsey is churning the roster until he can find someone who factors in. If the new guy sucks, he'll be cut, too.
Powe was a high school Army All-American and a first team All-SEC Conference player at Ole Miss.

He wasn't some hard luck story. The guy could play football.

And he did show the ability to penetrate and tie up blockers in the 2012 preseason. Much better than Poe did as a rookie. However, we saw a lot more of Poe's potential this preseason while Powe didn't shine. Perhaps it was conditioning or whatever, but there was no way that the team was keeping three nose tackles that were pure nose tackles. Howard gives you the ability to move around to any of the positions on a 34 front versus Powe.

I liked the guy a lot as well, and thought that he and Poe had potential in a 46 base set which I thought we'd see from Sutton, but at the end of the day, it's like most other businesses - it's a business and their job is to put the best 53 guys in uniform that will help the team in that specific scheme.

Wait, what? Casual fans thought we were winning the afc west. I'd like to think most hardcore fans realized we were ****ed from the beginning simply because we had casshole starting again.

the irony is we drafted Devon Wylie that round instead

now cut Wylie for Johnson, like swapping what our fourth round pick should have been instead of our "next white Wes Welker!" /CP homer

Then hardcore fans had blinders on. This team's depth stunk the the last few years. 45 players were claimed off waivers this weekend. None were Chiefs waivers.

No Chiefs claimed? That's fantastic (except for the players, of course).

We're already getting a good return on three of these players.

Dorsey is earning his mother****ing paycheck.

Dorsey's pro personnel evaluations seem to be pretty salty (Daniel excluded...)
