Yep. My son plays in the Cal Ripken league in Scottsdale. Even at that level there is some good pitching. We do batting cage, hitting coach, just so he can hit them. It's hard to hit a good pitch.

I disagree. I think a lot of soccer players could go and play left field. I don't believe the same is true for soccer. Yasiel Puig, and many other baseball players from other countries have a pretty extensive background in soccer, but could not go and be the best player in a B league soccer team, let alone find playing time at any position for a truly world class club.

Nope, and I didn't say a word about Hockey.

Left and right field is rather easily defended compared to third, short, or catcher.

I am sure this soccer player will not have the bat needed to make it to the bigs or even AA.
