I was picked on because I was a fat kid. Its stopped in the 8th grade. A popular kid in PE was making fun of me one day and I finally got sick of it and grabbed him by his throat, slammed him into the lockers, and reared my fist back like I was gonna hit him. The look of fear on his face was priceless. The PE instructor stood right there and watched, never said a word to me. This kid ****ed with me on a daily basis for a year and a half. Needless to say, he was never a problem again...

I was picked on quite a bit by older kids for a while, and I picked on a few kids myself (nothing too horrible). Mostly I just hung out with my group of friends and ignored everyone else.

Neither; I was actually the guy that stuck up for the kids that got picked on. I was always fairly happy and thought that everyone was a "friend" of sorts. I never understood why people felt the need to bully someone else.

I was a little of both. I haven't changed much. But, most of my "bullying" was of the friendly, non-malicious sort. I like messing with people and I like it when they play along. I don't mind being picked on and I'll likely play along myself.

I had a cousin growing up who was exactly the same age I was, and he was a nasty, nasty kid. For example, his favorite trick was to be hanging out peacefully with you, and then for no reason grabbing one of your fingers and bending it backward until you were screaming. Nasty, nasty kid, and my parents and aunt never did much to control him.

Long story short, all of the cousins were riding in the back of my dad's pickup (there's a safe move) with my mom, dad, aunt, and uncle up front, and he messed with me for the last time. I nailed him in the face hard, and there was blood everywhere, and the parents pulled over and I thought I was dead. Interestingly, no one said a word to me. Not a single word. He never bothered me again.

(Of course, sadly, I'll admit that all of us teamed up to pick on his little brother several years later, and I feel terribly guilty about that now. The little brother was 6 or 7 when we were all teenagers and really wanted to hang out with us, and that was a really bad combination. It wasn't bullying, but we just never cut the poor kid a break.)

I never messed with anyone in High School. I was pretty much liked by everyone.

Freshman year I got the crap beat out of me by the seniors on the football team. A freshman on the varsity squad doesn't have its benefits like I thought it would.

I was neither..........

I was neutral and a mediator.

I just have a hard time putting someone down or trying to derive pleasure from other's misfortunes........
I hated seeing someone in discomfort period..... hated mob mentalities, hysteria.........

I did have a little issue on my own those days and I was usually quiet and reserved. Plus I dished it to people who can take it.

But when interacting with others, I kinda became shady and easy going and such.........
