They were speculating on NFL network yesterday that Jacksonville may very well be in on the Geno Smith market as they are not sold on what they have now. And if this is true, or even if its not and people think it might be then it's GREAT news for our trade down happening.

I still don't get how Blaine Gabbert got picked in the first round? Mind blown thought he was 5th round tallent that needed a lot of work to get on the field.

He's incredibly talented yet raw. This is exactly what happens when a QB goes to a shit franchise and is rushed.

Even still, he's had flashes. This is the type of player whom the Chiefs would do well to try to acquire, should JAX be open to a trade.

I think there might have been a time when Gabbert could have been slowly developed into a decent starter, but my fear is that he's permanently damaged goods now.

It makes sense for the Cardinals to concentrate on improving their roster in a stacked NFC West if the personnel department doesn't view West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith as the solution. Perhaps Arians can find his own version of Russell Wilson next year -- if not in the second or third round next month.

You mean other than the fact that he was mediocre as **** in college? He was drafted because he was 6'5 220. That's about it.

I remember when we drafted him and I was like..."Why did we just draft that stupid bitch who threw the pick 6 to lose to the Hawkeyes in the insight bowl?" The only people who think it was a lack of development, are Mizzou homers. He has no downfield accuracy at all. And he's been afraid of the rush since Suh wrecked him in college.
