Looking like Sonny??? (suggestions appreciated)

I am an assistant supervisor over a prepping department. We have a goal of 80 boxes of prepped work per night. We have had some difficult clients come through, so it's been hard to meet that goal. Another assistant over our scanning department is a wacky kind of guy. Our supervisor came up with the idea that if my preppers met their goal Friday night, that this guy would have to wear a dress to work on Monday. Well, his scanners were also pushing themselves to 1) break a company record by scanning 90 boxes, and 2) doing so with one of our fastest scanning machines down. I told them that since their assistant had to do something if my preppers made their goal, that I would do something if they met their goal as well. Since their supervisor was dressing as a woman, the scanners came up with the idea of us dressing as a famous couple, only with me being the guy and him being the girl. Since he is taller than me, they came up with him dressing as Cher and me dressing as Sonny. They want us to get up and sing "I Got You Babe" but I don't see that happening.

Anyway, I am 5'7" and weigh 200+ lbs. How the hell am I going to look like Sonny???? Any suggestions? I have some sandals and bootcut jeans are the closest things I have to bellbottoms. I guess I could go try to find a fake mustache tomorrow when I decide to get out.

You're not going to look like Sonny (he was short and had no breasts) so you'll have to do the best you can.

1. If your hair is still long like it was in the pic you posted, you'll need a Sonny wig. Your hair will need to look like this.

2. You'll need a large cheesy fake Sonny mustache. (see above)

3. You'll need to ditch your glasses

4. You'll need a nice 70s polyester suit.

5. You'll need to talk through your nose, just like Sonny did.

6. You'll need to play the setup man for your "Cher" just like Sonny did.

&. You'll need to learn all the words to "I Got You Babe" or "The Beat Goes On."

Good luck with that.

Well, my hair is shorter now, above my shoulders. Didn't he have longer hair at one time, or was it always short like that? And sandals, bootcut jeans, and a seventies style shirt won't work?

He had his hair several lengths. Just comb it straight down in the front and you'll be OK.

I dont recall Sonny ever wearing jeans on television unles it was in a skit, but I guess you have to work with what you've got eh?
