Calling it now, the Cardinals will suffer a total beatdown. Royals fans leave the game happy but also wondering where that offense was the last couple days.

we have not scored in 24 innings....and dumbass Hillman will run Avilles out there again today thus putting 2 automatic outs in the lineup. Therefore....no. Not unless we get a lucky break as in an error on the Cards or someone gets a hold of a mistake pitch for a jack.

If we have to get a couple hits in one inning to score...forget about it.

Edit: I stand corrected. I did not check the lineup. Bloomy is in...Avilles out. So that is 1 step in the right direction.

Given the offensive futility, I'm surprised Trey hasn't switched Crisp and DeJesus.

Maybe, just maybe, their career numbers in the other's respective spot would suggest that this might be worth a try.

I would do it just to shake things up. Not for the reasons you specifify.

Do you think the career numbers are a farce?

Please don't praise the stolen base. It's not '74.

On this team we need stolen bases. Plus DDJ has more power than Coco.

Maybe.

But you believe that where one hits in the order shouldn't matter, so this is a moot point for folks like yourself.
