hmmm... there haven't been too many great chiefs qbs in my era of being a fan (started when I was around seven or eight, really--90 or 91)
green's good, deberg was good in his time... dave kraig wasn't bad either though... girlbac, eek, kill me now... -EB- |

That is why I was asking. I was trying to think of a QB that KC had that was really good. All I could think of was Montana. Help my memory please. Thanks.

For me, it starts and ends with Todd Blackledge.

hell, we've got the bad habit of getting qbs that are way past their prime... we've had several hall of fame qbs when it was 'too late'...
warren moon was a chief for a while... montana, obviously... gannon, though before he 'blew up'... kraig's a borderline hall of famer (damned small hands!!!) -EB- |

Now you have Trent Green, how would you rate this guy. I don't know that much about him. I will see for myself on Monday night. Hey, you beat the Colts.

green's a good qb--not a hall of famer, he started way too late in his career (he was a seventh round draft pick in 93 for the chargers, and didn't play a down in the nfl until like 97)
that said, he'll never be a team's answer to peyton manning--he'll always be good if he's surrounded with a good supporting cast, but I wouldn't rely on him to be the next john elway (I still hate that fucker) -EB- |
