Pats Fan asking -- who was your best and favorite KC QB. On the Pats side, first Brady, then Grogan. Bledsoe -- glad to see him in Buffalo. The bum. Grogan was always my favorite, but Brady has changed my mind.

KC QB - Montana (in his twilight years), still the best QB that ever played the game.

I mentioned him before you did, but as a backup. He played wellthat 69 season as a backup, after Lenny retired, Mike didn't and couldn't do crap with the team we had. BTA, neither could anybody else.

Green is far and away the best I've seen.

Montana was better, in his prime, but Green has been better in a Chiefs uniform.

No argument here, you could use any pre-2000 Chiefs defense and we would have won it all last season.

I've been watching the Chiefs since 1965. Here's my humble opinion. We'll just talk guys who started at least a game or two and ignore the career backups:

Great Chiefs QBs: Dawson and Montana.

Good Chiefs QBs: Green, DeBerg, Kreig, Gannon.

Mediocre Chiefs QBs: Livingston, Bono, Jaworksi.

Crappy Chiefs QBs: Fuller, Grbac, Kenney, Moon, Pelleur.

Total Waste of Flesh: Blackledge.

Question for you old timers on the board. So who were our QB's from like the mid 1970's to the early 1980's? I dont remember them, I guess i was too young then.

I remember Livingston(barely), Steve Fuller and then Bill Kenney.

I remember Fuller, but thats the earliest one i can remember. I think he was drafed in like 1979 though?? SO who did we have after Lenny retired? IN the mid 1970's???

Bill Kenney went from 79 to 88, then your boy Steve came in. Before that I think mizzou is right it was Livingston and Fuller. I can't remember who Kenneys backup was.

It was Livingston after Dawson then Fuller then Kenney then Blackledge then Deberg.

thanks for the link. Ive never checked that stuff out before. I do remember Paul Wiggins vaguely when i was a kid......Greatest coach in Chiefs history!! LOL
