Are any of those guys the best at their respective positions in their draft classes in the past 5 years? No? How about 3 years? TWO YEARS, BRO. Can you give me two goddamned years worth of OTs, DTs, OLBs, and CBs and say that any of those players are at the top of the position? This is the #1 overall pick and you're quibbling over the value of slapdick positions, but all the QBs are just an automatic write off? |

And Geno would not be 1st overall quality hardly any year. But guys like Joeckel, Richardson, Werner, or Fisher legitimately could have been. We need to break this down.... hold on. Let me return in 5 minutes, and lay my point out list-style. |

I disagree. Pretty hard, actually. Not just pretty hard. I disagree vehemently.
I greatly prefer Geno to all of the first QBs taken between 2005-2011. Coming out of college, that is. The only guy I have to think twice about is Stafford. Quote:
Again, we're talking positional value. Could Richardson be a JJ Watt? I wouldn't rule it out. What' the likelihood of reaching that ceiling? Not so great, especially considering his lazy reputation in college. |
