What are the best types of Boulevard beers?

Salutations beer drinkers,

Last week a friend of mine was in from California and expressed how much they enjoyed Boulevard and wished it was in California. I'm going to send them some different bottles. What would you recommend?

PS: I thought Lovechild would be a good selection until I saw it would cost 20 bucks!

Yeah, I was pretty pleased with that sampler I picked up.

Would have been fantastic if they subbed 80-acre for the Wheat.

They did last fall. It was always a limited-release beer. It isn't on the brewing schedule for 2014.

When they tweaked the recipe to allow for lactic acid back in 2010 that beer became absolutely world-class. It hasn't been released since, but is coming out yet again next month.

My friend in LA (he's hipsterish so this may not be true for all of Cali) says they don't get the regular Boulevard beers there because there are so many local breweries making those types of beers. He says they get all the Smoke Stacks and limited Smoke Stacks though.

Love Child is a sour beer - fair warning if you haven't acquired the taste.
Sixth Glass is the greatest beer made. ever. Do not disagree. You are wrong.
Tank 7 is pretty close.
Smokestack series has ruined the beer drinking experience. They should just advertise that the first smokestack series beer is free....

yes! fell in love with it at the flying saucer.
bought a case of it a year ago and found out that while I really love the stuff on tap.....it's not quite as good out of a bottle. some beers are just like that. especially youngs double chocolate stout....great on tap.....basically ass in a bottle.
