Although, neither Cranston nor Paul know whether or not their characters will die, both have stated they believe that they believe there is a strong chance that they will. I'm agreeing with Cranston about Walt, and I'm hoping he finds that perfect moment to die- that he talked about in the lab with Jesse. However, I don't think they should kill Jesse. I like the idea that maybe he gets arrested (which never seems to happen on Breaking Bad) or dissappears (using "the guy" that Saul knows). What ever happens, I'm sure it will be a surprise. This show likes to connect the thematic & symbolic dots, but never does it in an expected way, i.e. Gus & the bear or the bear's eye and Walt being watched.

Spoiler!

It's a great show. I'm kicking myself because I missed most of season 4. I caught a couple episodes, (including the last one) so I'm pretty much caught up. I guess they'll probably re-air them at some point before the next season kicks off.

so there has been a lot of talk about The Wire on this thread. Did anyone have a hard time in the transition from season 1 to season 2. Everything is making a lot less sense right now.

The Wire thread.

P.S. Season 2 might be my favorite.

I just bought Season 4 on Amazon for 20 bucks. HD instant video for the PS3 is awesome.

I didn't get into the show until a few months ago. Season four was bad ass. The final episode was terrific. I guess season 5 will be the last and it sounds like they are breaking it up into 2 parts. It's air date is early July, they will go 8 episodes then take 4 months off and do it again.
If true, that really sucks.

So, I haven't read anything in this thread yet. Just wanted to drop by and say that I finally started watching this last night. Watched the first two episodes of the series. Obviously, it's incredibly interesting and amazingly acted.

I'm really interested to see how they can keep this thing going in an honest way without getting too contrived. Because, honestly, after everything that happens to him in those first two episodes, I have no idea how Walt doesn't just say **** it and bail on this idea.

What could possibly keep him going?! Is cancer enough?

I think that this will be the first final season in history to exceed expectations.

I don't know how they will beat last season. You know Hank is going to find out WTF is going on.

The show is better than anything on tv.

I don't want Hank to find out. It would be hard watching Walt take him out.

It wouldn't for me. I despise the shit out of Hank. I think the most interesting development will be Walt vs. Jesse. That will be fun to watch.
