Let's start it... Warriors going for a back to back and 3 out of 4. Yikes for Gordon Hayward.

I notice you didn't have much to say last night after the Wolves butt-****ed them in the first half and spent the 2nd half marking time and milking clock. Yeah, real scary bunch of geriatrics you have there. And sadly, that pack of 30 yr olds isn't going to get better as the season goes along, sport.
Wolves are a good team. It was a back-to-back game for the Spurs. I knew we were going to lose. If we see them in the playoffs with King Kawhi we will dominate. Facts.

Even the idiot homer RealSNR will admit that I am sure.

Homer? HOMER?!

I could go blind and start writing lengthy poetry, and you would STILL look like a fool for calling me a freaking homer.

And Ball just can shoot. He can still turn it around but man, it's tough to expect a guy that's not elite physically to be able to get by without being able to shoot
Still not sure why they didn't simply keep the pick and draft Tatum. He'd have been perfect for that team.

I dunno - perfect would've been a healthy Fultz. But he wasn't healthy. They're so strong in the frontcourt and Robert Covington is such a perfect fit for them with Simmon's shooting issues that what they really needed was a perimeter player who could stretch the defense.

Then again, by playing Simmons at point, they could've tried Covington as a stretch 4 and put Tatum in as a 3 with Redick at the 2. I just think they wanted to get a little more athleticism on the perimeter and a healthy Fultz was just such a dynamic player.

I understand why they did it; if Fultz is who they thought he was, I think they're better than they are with Tatum. The spacing is a little better with Fultz back there and Simmons as more of a point forward. But Fultz just isn't healthy and there are enough whispers that you wonder if there isn't some long-term damage in that shoulder of his.

Ball will come into his own. The premature talk is pretty funny to read. Hating on lavar is also sad when he is just loving father tryin to hype and sell his son into success - it’s working. Ball has a calm demeanor, fully capable of finishing at the rim, has great court vision - better than Russell. He will need to tweak his shot much like Ingram needs to gain a stroke or even randle. Russell was never going to stay after the nick young incident

Simmons, AFAIK, was always slated for the 1. Tatum would have been fine at the 3, with Redick at the 2 (at least for this season). With Embiid at the 5, I'm not sure it matters who is at the 4 at that point.

So was Marv Marinovich.

And if I had any confidence that LaVar gave one **** about Lonzo apart from being able to bask in Lonzo's accomplishments, maybe I'd buy this argument more. But LaVar ball is a me-first jackass who uses his children to further himself; little else.

And nothing is more funny to read than "Lonzo needs to 'tweak' his shot'. Shaquille O'Neal needed to 'tweak' his free throw technique. Lonzo needs to 'tweak' his shot in the same way that Charles Barkley needs to tweak his golf swing. Literally every single thing about his shot needs to be re-made. He doesn't gather correctly, his balance is bad, he doesn't keep his hand under the shot, he doesn't finish worth a shit. He looks like a middle schooler out there; it's incredibly bad and there's no spot on it that can be 'tweaked' without the whole thing being re-made from the ground up.

He airballed an open look from straight away last night. He missed badly enough on two others that he went glass before he drew rim (and no, there's no way it was by design). He's not just a tweak away - he's lucky to draw iron on some of these.

You can't keep sending him out there to die. It isn't going to just fix itself if he keeps slinging balls at the rim.

Exactly. He has to work on his shot and get that fixed. If he does I think he will be a good role-player but like you mentioned I don't think he will be able to.

Ball is trash right now. He is shooting 30% from the field and 23% from the 3-pt line. He better improve his shot quickly because you can't be an effective PG in today's NBA shooting like that.

I saw him play enough in college to know he was going to have trouble in the NBA. Like I said overhyped because of his father. His father definitely knew how to use the media to his advantage. I don't think I have ever seen a garbage rookie like Ball get this much attention. Maybe Kwame Brown because MJ picked him.

They have RoCo who they just extended. A 3 like Tatum was never in consideration. They needed a PG and a SG, which is why they will go after Avery Bradley next offseason.

Simmons slides to the 4 on defense.

All he needs to do is stop shooting. Just do the Ben Simmons approach. He's a good player, but for some reason he really thinks he's the incarnate of Larry Bird or something. Do what you are good at.

Yep. He has taken a couple of really bad 3’s when he just needs to drive to the basket or give it to someone who can actually shoot.

Game is tied going into the 4th quarter. Don’t know how that happened but this game has felt like a GS blowout since early in the game.
