Perfect world for me would be a mid-air between the Raider's and Bronco's planes over the Rocky's. To emphasize my oldness; I attended every home game from preseason against the Bills in 63 through 1978. As a kid the broncos were just clowns in goofy colors, the Raiders inspired hatred. Left for the USMC, when home on the west coast, made games in San Diego, L.A/ Oakland. Never bothered to grace Denver with my $ or time. Get pissed now, when Ii am told of sellouts(like I was last night by a lady, bragging about how much she made selling to a Bronco fan) of Chiefs season ticket holders selling to other fans but particularly Raiders/Broncos. My hatred of the Broncos had to develop but it's real.

Like Fraz said, hover your mouse over your name. Your user ID # will appear in the bar at the bottom of the screen. Subtract 15 from the number (Austin Chief made a bunch of dummy accounts on the first day to test stuff.)

My user id # is 21, which means I'm the sixth member to join Chiefs Planet (hence the choice of my avatar for this place).

Actually, you'd be user #79. Austin has a bunch of dummy accounts he was testing with on Day 1.

Still a respectable low number. I think you'd still count as one of the plank holders.

Wow. I knew I was a plank owner, didn't realize I came in at 12th overall.

In August of '00 I was 19 years old. I don't recall exactly when i started at the Star board but, I had to have been at least 18, maaaaybe even 17. I am now 32. I know I am not really but, I'm feeling kind of old at the moment (that could also just be the hangover).

I wish I was more active...heck, I think it's been nearly 8 years since I was a really active poster. I miss it, but my work changed significantly and dont have the luxury of screwing around like I did.

I rode the Mayflower over here with a rag tag bunch of posters as the Star board was being nuked by the mods. In the end, this place was 1,000 times better than that board.

Some of my fondest memories were the run in's with several nemesis. The funnest was probably PackFan. I think the quote that did him in was the statement that watching Priest Holmes reminded him of Donnell Bennett. Oops. There was never a post he made, where I didnt jam that BS straight down his throat. The sheer embarrassment of that must have run him off.

The *epic* Gannon/Grbac flame wars...this place was in a constant simmer for two full years after that year. It was Clint in Wichita's most famous moment. I never got to give him his virtual trophy for 'winning' that debate.

And of course, the collective of Genious (ChiefsPlanet spelling) that weekly broke down the game film (that would be TV broadcast to the layman) and were able to point out all the mistakes (after the fact) that the coaching staff made and the busts and pissed away draft picks. Those threads were great reads. They had their very own language.

I miss Gaz, KCWolfman, Morphius (who was the first to 5k posts, I believe) and several others, we had some good times in the early days.

I was never on the Star BB. I started out on the Home of the Chiefs board, which I think was Phobia's board (or, at least he was on it). I came here when CP was mentioned over there (the HotCB wasn't very active), so was more in the second wave. I'm #467 so was at least in the first 500.
