I can see growth in Clark as an owner & think he is only going do his best to make the best decisions he can going forward for the best interest of the team. Not saying they will always be the best decisions but the intent to make the right decisions ways heavy on his shoulders.

if the story about clark not changing his mind on pioli until he spoke with manning is true...that is frightening...cassel, haley, crennel, and 2-14 weren't enough for Clark to break up with his bro-friend (and all rumors point to Clark having given pioli an extension...Matt Cassel got pioli an extension...that is not the sign of a smart, involved owner)
by every objective measure pioli is a failure and deserves to be fired unceremoniously...but Clark is a delicate thing, and so we have to wait if you squint, you can see all this as a way of preserving a place for Clark's best hj brah pioli while giving fans the appearance that pioli has been punished..fast forward a month and we've hired a coach who - surprise - is ok with pioli and they - together - are preparing for another disastrous pioli draft, while hiring more pioli flunky coordinators...and Clark still gets to play farmville with his papa bear (Clark is a bottom, natch) oh, and we trad for Smith...since Clark has never said drafting a QB is a priority (he was extra weaselly on this point in the interview on 810)...8-8 y'all, pony up! of course, if Pioli's termination papers are sitting on Clark's desk waiting for lawyers to argue over exit $$, then the preceding fantasy is wrong and Clark is the Man...

I want to believe in Clark Hunt more than I do believe in Clark Hunt.
I don't have a delusion that he is going man up and fire Scott Pioli. I do think there is a big chance that he does fire Scott Pioli. I hate the waiting "it's a process"

i feel the same way about drafting a QB, it's non-negotiable for my continued fandom...but I don't believe Clark really cares about that, and a lot of fans would be just fine drafting a LB and acquiring yet another vet cast off...i think there is a very high probability this could go down

Where is the too soon to tell option. That is the ONLY fair option at this point.

Incomplete
Until I see the final final, I have no comment. Pioli MUST BE GONE, and we have to find a GM and Coach who can get us over this Godforsaken playoff winless hump.

Yes... At least he now appears alive and involved. I was calling for him to sell the team to somebody who cared, or maybe the fans like Green Bay. I'm just glad to see him active...
