I figured I would start a thread for this and see what happens....there seemed to be quite a few viewers on the board for this show the past few weeks.....I like the direction the show is taking so far......episode 3 tonight at 7 central on ABC....

If not, there's a possibility that it could've been cut for time. Apparently there was a scene with the pilot [that got killed by the monster] and Claire interacting during boarding that was cut as well.

Pretty sure neither Rose nor Lucius were seen arguing over where she put his super suit in the boarding montage at the end, at the very least.

I just watched nearly every frame of all of the airport scenes from the final episode, and Samuel was absent. All we saw of Rose was the side of her head.

Rodriguez first earned notice for her starring role in 2000's "Girlfight," for which she won an Independent Spirit Award and several critics' honors. She's also appeared in "The Fast and the Furious," "Blue Crush" and "S.W.A.T." "Lost" will be her first TV series.

I don't think it means she was 100% guaranteed in her seat when the tail broke off.... I know this isn't a show based on reality, but I'd just have a much easier time believing she was close to the front at the time. We already know the pilot survived... sort of.

So anyone watching the reruns? They had either the 1st or 2nd show last wednesday, and I caught something missed the 1st time around.

In the plane, Jack and the older lady who insists who husband(perhaps SLJ?) is alive, are talking just before the crash. The noises during the turbulance sounded very familiar, after seeing the whole 1st season. Later on the beach, Jack is staring off across the ocean, with this black lady talking to a couple others. This is after they heard the 'monstor' just off the beach, in the trees. She says 'That noise was so familiar'.

So my conclusion is the monstor caused the plane crash. It, whatever it is, was up there, and brought the plane down.
