I watched it this morning just looking for some insights into the game. There really wasn't any. NFL cut out anything good evidently. One thing that stood out was Brady repeatedly saying "We know what they're doing." So they knew exactly how they were going to play our defense and for the most part it worked.

It could be but I think what really got to Mathieu, would be really bad words related to his playing ability/play. Maybe among other things call him weak link of Chiefs defense and worst safety he has seen in the Super Bowl. Scrub that has to hold/PI to stay in the league. All in much harsher words. This is all consistent with Mathieu not wanting to repeat Brady's words. It would make Mathieu and Brady both look bad for different reasons

I actually agree with NFL Insider not releasing the film since if they release it this time, players who want to trash talk won't be able to do so in the future without the risk of it being disclosed. Players only agree to the microphones since some stuff is not revealed.
