Probably, but I wouldn't bet against him. There are some pretty mediocre point guards serving as backups in the league. Handles and size are a question, but a guy that can shoot, play defense and play with heart has a chance.

As a Tiger fan, just wanted to say mad props to Pullen. The guy gave it everything he had, just coming off the flu a few days ago. He could have used some help. He'll be remembered as a fighter. Congrats on a great career.

Collins' signing was more of a "let's take care of our own" by Larry Brown. They put a few bucks in his pocket and kept him from having to leave for Lithuania for a year.
So he'll be spending time in a European prison instead of here in America?

Him and Kellis have been going at it all year. Kellis is a KU homer and graduate that was assigned to KSU's beat. He had a KU blog at one point(since been deleted to cover up what he said).

As a KU fan, I still feel like Leuer should've been given a flagrant for his face swipe on Pullen. I mean seriously, taking an obviously intentional swipe at a guys face with you off ball hand is the definition of "excessive or severe contact" in my book.

From a decision making standpoint, with all other factors aside (no support, missed foul call at the up 6 turnover, Curtis dropping the ball), I think the biggest mistake all game was when Jake decided to drive in instead of holding for the last shot.

With as hot as he was, you've gotta let him go, but I still think Frank needs to call a TO at that point and create a play. Granted, our transition Offense is better than our set play Offense (see: final shot). I just think you absolutely need to hold for the last shot in that situation, though.

Jake lost the ball. We have to foul. Game.

Also, why didn't we send Martavious or someone in to drive right at Leuer or Eyebrow to draw a foul and knock out their bigs?

Sigh.

Well, the Bobcats tried to bring him back (post Larry Brown) but he missed the plane twice for some reason.

Yes, and it was the same kind of play they called a flagrant against McGruder in the Cats first round game.

Tough loss for Pullen, but KSU got about all it could out of that team given he had very little in the way of reliable help.

Too bad Frank was a total ass to Spradling on national TV for his sub-par screen. The game had been decided, and Frank was still acting like a prick to his kids. Pathetic, and classless really.

No, i think you misread that. The reporter asked specifically what happened on the play, and Frank gave an honest answer instead of coach speak. I found it refreshing. I also don't think he "threw him under the bus," I think he told it as it was.

He's referring to the timeout when he was on Spradling in the huddle. I guess he thinks that Frank should have stopped coaching before the game was over.

The game, and more specifically, the season was over - that's the point. For Frank to be scolding a freshman fresh after trying to make a play, shows the type of guy he is. There's a time to coach and scold, and there's a time to show some restraint and build up a kid. Frank was an embarrassment tp KSU once again.

I look forward to watching his composure next year without the 1.5 players KSU had this season.

Frank was chewing his ass for deliberately not following Frank's order to take the last shot. Frank drew up the play to have Will take the shot. Instead of taking it, Will passed it to Jake despite being open. THAT was why Frank was irate, and rightfully so. Not only did Will not take the shot he was directed to, but his passing it off to Jake failed.
