While Ford is great in the role, Baldwin will always be Ryan to me. I absolutely love Hunt for Red October while the others were just so so.

Hunt for Red is a classic. patriot games, so so.......Loved Clear and Present Danger. Even Sum of All Fears was pretty good.

I liked Sum as well. Didn't really see Afleck as Ryan though.

Hunt For Red October was classic because of the ensemble cast...and honestly casting Scott Glenn as the Captain of the US Sub was perfect in my book. (That and his role in Silverado were to me his best roles)

I guess I didn't really enjoy the others....especially Sum of All Fears.

The book and the movie for "Sum of All Fears" were so vastly different from each other that they seemed to share nothing more than the title.

Clancy's early books were so damn good. "Red October" "Cardinal of the Kremlin" "Red Storm Rising," etc.

He will be missed.

Just saw this last night. It was decent. I'd read there were some twists and turns, but I thought it was relatively predictable. Also not a huge fan of Keira Knightly, movie could have been better with another female lead IMO. Chris Pine was credible.
