anyone have any home cures? Ive had it since i was about 26 but havent had an attack in acouple years had a mild one acouple days ago.

the meds make me leary cause my doc said theyre hard on you.

anything work for you?

anyone tried the cherry juice thing?

Don't have a home remedy.

My neighbor had it years ago.

Too much time on the road, too much drinking
and not enough water daily intake.

My dad uses Glucosamine Chondroitin and he swears by the stuff. I think you have to take it for a couple months before you really notice the difference.

I've battled that evil li'l bastard... shellfish is what flairs it up for me, so I've avoided anything related to shellfish the last 6 years and have had no issues.

I've decided to 'dance with the devil' a few times and sample some at a nice dinner, and I've paid the price the next 48 hours. It's a wicked freaking pain.

I tried the cherry juice method, and bing cherries and it doesn't seem to help all that much. Although some people swear by it.

Lots of water, exercise (even though painful) and moderation seems to keep it away. Once it hits, the only thing that helps me is something called indomethacin. It clears it up fairly quickly with no side effects.

Sucky condition to have because there's not much to do about it.
