Tony is going to be guarded by Asomugha
Per KFFL:
Raiders | Team to use Asomugha against T. Gonzalez in Week 13 Fri, 28 Nov 2008 16:31:10 -0800 The Oakland Raiders are planning to utilize CB Nnamdi Asomugha in primary coverage against Kansas City Chiefs TE Tony Gonzalez in Week 13. I hope Tony can man-handle him. Plus, this is going to give D-Bowe a huge edge. I've never really seen a CB cover a TE. Does anyone know if this has worked well in the past? I mean, the size difference alone would be huge. Plus, Tony is used to getting hit off the line, so Asomugha can't really throw him off of his game using force. |

Every team should already be doing this. Without Tony, our receiving corps is talented but extremely inconsistent.

I guess I'll wait for some really profound threads like who Tyler Thigpen is dating, etc. to get my post count up. Then I might be able to comment on, dare I hope, Chiefs football related threads.

I remember when Hasty shutdown Sharpe at Arrowhead. Sharpe's only catch that afternoon was while being covered by and LB, although that catch was a touchdown.

Well until they blitzed Hasty and they scored the game winner to Sharpe over the LB |

Then the next day all the Donkey fans crowing about Sharpe's greatness after Hasty had shut him down.
