According to one website, it is listed at $1725 above the average asking price. This one has the Hefty floor liner, tow package, below average mileage, etc. though. Just wondering what smarter people than me think. Thanks.

Due to my travels, I've driven almost every SUV that is out there. I finally stopped renting for 2 weeks 6 times a years and bought my own, but my recommendation is Explore #1, Hyundai Santa Fe and the GMC Terrain. Most the other stuff was too small and cheap feeling to drive. Out of 24 rentals in very very rough duty those 3 are my favorites to drive.

We've still got a few questions to ask, but, if things work out, I think we may have the Nissan soon. Fingers crossed.

In looking on repairpal.com, there are three recalls listed. One was in February 2008. How can a 2009 be recalled so early in 2008? While in production?

Yep.

IIRC that was the year the Murano skipped a model year too. They went straight from 2007 to 2009 model year and released early in 2008.

Nissan is now ours. Got it for $13,500. They were also generous with the value of boyfriend's trade-in (he got about $1000 more for it than I thought he'd get).
