This flick is set to come out in 2010. It's about (the locals say Sheriff, IMDB says Deputy Sherrif) that becomes a serial killer set in the 1950s. Casey Affleck, Jessica Alba, Kate Husdon and Simon Baker (the Mentalist) are staring.

Interestingly enough, part of it is filming 15 miles south of us in Cordell, OK. (Parts with both Affleck and Baker) night the wife had piano lessons and there's a killer little pizza joint there so I road along. They had the main street square closed off for the movie. Since the pizza joint is there on the square, we had to go into the pizza joint through the kitchen door.

Kinda cool sitting there in the pizza joint looking out the windows at all the old cars and people dressed up in 50's getups. Also got to watch Casey Afleck actually filming a scene. He had to run down one side of the square (don't know why). They did the shot with him running (full sprint) into the cammera about 4 times and two more times with the camera following him. I failed to mention that the temps had been in the low 100s and were probably still in the high 90s at this point. By the third take he was grabbing his knees and we could see him walking back to the start looking up into the sky and shaking his head. A couple more takes and they finally got to start setting up for another scene, but we left before we could watch that one being filmed.

Sounds like a lot of the locals are having a blast being used as extras and getting to be in scenes with some Hollywood celebs.

Didn't see her. A local said that thought her character was supposed to have died before this point in the movie. I guess she really irritated a bunch of people while shooting in OK City. Something about vandalising a shark sign at the OKC United Way.

Yeah, I read something about that. She didn't come out and admit to it, but she apologized for her actions.

Cool story, Mike! Did you tell Casey that his brother is still Matt Damon's bitch?

Though I imagine that if the story is about a serial killer, everyone will expect for most co-stars to be potential victims.
