NFBT: Dinner Guests
Ok, I'm not sure if this has gone around here before.... but, I have had this asked of me several times.
If you could invite 4 people to dinner, who would they be and what would you serve them? Yes, it can be anyone who is no longer with us. I'm interested to hear what you say. Here's my list: John Elway Diamond David Lee Roth Steve Martin Drew Carey Bit of an odd mix, I might add, but I think there would be some colorful conversations. As for the meal... I'd serve pizza and beer, keep it casual. |

Jesus,
Mohammad, Moses and Khufu I'd serve bread and wine because then I wouldn't have to worry about the pork thing. I'd love to hear the first three tell me about their religions and I could see for myself if they were indeed holy men. Khufu built the great pyramid of Giza and I'd like to know how the **** he did it...

Ronald Reagan
George Patton Adolf Hitler Erin Rommel Ok, first 2 need no explanation. ( besides I could turn them loose on #3) #3, just because the man was such a charismatic leader, I would like to talk to him just to see if he really believed what he said, or was playing to the masses. #4 Patton's alter ego. |

john,
an ex girlfriend's dad had a photo album given to him by his father that was General Goering's(he had taken it during a raid of his summer home in the war). It contained many many pictures of Hitler at weddings, christenings, and picnics.....I had never seen anything like it....the guy looked as normal as anyone....the soft light church pics and him holding babies was eerie. ~gave me the eebie jeebies...I'm sure it would be very valuable to the right collector. |
