Gotta love getting carded
I'm still very used to getting carded for alcohol, even though I'll be 30 soon. Well, tonight, I go into a convenience store to pick up a 6-pack. Of course, I get carded. She looks at the ID, then looks at me. The following is our conversation:
Clerk - "You colored your hair." Me - "Yeah, I highlighted it." Clerk - "'76, huh?" Me - "Yep." Clerk - "How do you say your name?" I proceed to tell her what my name is. This is the same lady who, a few hours earlier, carded a friend of mine when she bought one $1 lottery ticket. I know you gotta be careful, but sheesh! |
