Albert/Joeckel perspective

How would you feel if the Chiefs had the #2 overall pick and packaged it and Albert for Joeckel? Because that's what the Chiefs are on the brink of doing.

#1 pick = 3000 points
#54 pick = 360 points

difference is 2640 points

#2 pick is worth 2600 points

Chiefs are going to invest 3000 - 360 = 2640 points to replace Albert with Joeckel. It could be a good deal for the Chiefs if 1) Albert is out of the league in two years, 2) Jockel is a HOFer and 3) the alternatives (like Geno) don't have very good careers.

Haha

I'm calling bullshit.

YOU have a great memory (as witnessed by remembering my name, even though you "erased the PMs") and many other things you have recalled on here from years past and you think we are to believe you watched a bunch of Genos games on YouTube "but can't remember what teams he played" and when you try to list a couple games you watched, you can only remember 2 of them...WV DIDN'T EVEN PLAY TEXAS A&M which was one of the two games you do remember...?

Just admit it. You watched 2 games, decided you didn't like him and are just sticking to your guns and really haven't watched any more than a few minutes of YouTube on him and no full games.

Cmon Dane.

Tell us what Geno did against Johnny footballs team that makes you think he's a bad player.

I did a pretty thorough write up of what I liked and didn't like about Smith after watching him on YouTube. Use the search function.

Not that it should matter to you and your flunkies.

Musta been extremely thorough if you watched his Texas A&M game. I can't say I've gotten around to watching that one.

Those are my thoughts from November. I posted about him throughout the college season last year.

Pretending that I didn't see him play is outright bullshit. But again, why is MY opinion so ****ing important?

We have the #1 pick people. You really think ANY GM in the entire goddamned league is gonna say "oh well herp derp plays QB so uh his value is higher than everyone else so we should automatically take him"? This pick decides their job. Of course they don't want to take a prospect that they have doubts about. BPA is the best philosophy, not reaching for need.

You know who thinks like that? Scott *****. Case and point 2009.

Tyson Jackson was not worth the #3 pick in a weak draft but because of his "positional value" of him being the only legit 3-4 DE in the ****ing draft, we drafted the mother****er and look at what happened?

Oh and our new GM was a part of the draft room that RAPED everyone in that weak 2009 draft.

So Dane, what did you think of Damontre Moore's impact on the WV/Texas A&M game?

There's a rather large difference between reaching for a QB (which is the most important, difference-making position in the NFL) and reaching for a 3-4 DE (which is not an impact position at all).

Scott Pioli also thought the Chiefs should get rid of Brandon Albert and draft Luke Joeckel instead... just saying.

True, but would he have had the foresight and intelligence to trade a second + for a mediocre backup?

This is ****ing hilarious having Dane tell us all about how he watched Geno against Texas A&M and how it was part of his evaluation of why he sees Geno as an inferior prospect.

A game that literally NEVER HAPPENED.

WV didn't even play Texas A&M last year.

This goes right up there with BlackBob telling us how well Alex Tanney played in the preseason game that he didn't even suit up for.
