I am not sure why Jon Baldwin sucks to date. I can't tell you if it is because of his QB situation, his work ethic, or his lack of athletic ability. I haven't had enough visual evidence of anything Chiefs related when it comes to guys like Baldwin because we haven't had a QB in years.
Hard to judge a guy like Baldwin after two years. No clue. I'll let you know around week 8 this year since we'll have an actual QB that can at least throw a forward pass somewhat successfully. |

What about Chad Jackson that was drafted by the Patriots? He had all the traits you listed and was a freakish athlete at Florida. He had Tom Brady throwing to him in the NFL and he never even came close to EXCELLING as a WR. Are you ready to admit that your statement was stupid and that you sensationalize and exaggerate points in your arguments to attempt to make yourself look less stupid? I think you should. |

you're talking about NFL ****ing busts
this isn't even the conversation anymore I'm talking about the premiere athletes in America. Those are NBA players. Plain and simple. The cream of the crop play in the NBA, and my stance on the subject is MANY of these NBA players could successfully transition to the NFL if there was a reason to. there is not one NFL player that could play in the NBA IMO, there are SEVERAL NBA players that could play in the NFL I'm not going to sit here and talk about Jon Baldwin and Chad Jackson when my point was guys like LeBron and Derrick Rose could have excelled in the NFL if there was a reason to pass up the $300M they'll make in NBA contracts for the $30M they would have made in NFL contracts. |

My point was... guys like Jimmy Butler...who will make 100 X more playing in the NBA and take 10000000 X less abuse and live longer lives...could absolutely transition to the NFL if there was a reason to... ANFERNEE HARDAWAY MADE $120,000,000 DOLLARS IN NBA CONTRACTS. CHRIS WEBBER MADE $200,000,000 DOLLARS IN NBA CONTRACTS. Jimmy Butler is not even a top 50 NBA player. Probably not a top 100. He was a late 1st round pick. |

I'm sure Anfernee Hardaway, in the prime of his career, could have played in the NFL. He's not the best example but I have a hard time believing a 6'6" 215 lb. freak athlete couldn't transition to the NFL as a WR if there was a fiscal reason to do so...
Hardaway made $120,500,000 in NBA contracts alone (not counting any endorsements and he had plenty) Name an NFL receiver that has made $120,000,000 in his NFL career in contracts please. |

I'm sure this guy (Jimmy Butler) couldn't transition to the NFL!
