Yeah, so I saw a lot of movies this weekend.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age - Mediocre, at best. Slow and dragged on. Shorten it to 2 hours and it's golden. It's not, so it fails.

Michael Clayton - Amazing. Everything about it is awesome. However, it's VERY complex and mind bending. You have to think, so be prepared. I still feel like I'm missing key details of exactly what happened. Gotta see it again.

Across the Universe - Perfect is one word that comes to mind. It just works. And, contrary to many people I bet, the movie is best viewed sober. Trust me.

Anyone seen Jennifer's Body? Thinking about putting it in my queue. I'm not too big on horror. Is it gory?

One of my students, who is a serious film buff, saw this movie at the Toronto Film Festival (yes, he's a high school kid that travels to film festivals for fun). I just asked him about it, and he said it was really, really good. Very disturbing, but good. Worst movie ever. Megan Fox is just eye candy.....thats it. Horrible acting, horrible story, horrible everything.

Alrighty. Jennifer's Body will not be going in my queue. I've got DVD 1 of the second An Evening with Kevin Smith (Evening Harder I think). I'm gonna wait to watch it until I get DVD 2 though. Looking through my queue, and there were a lot of chick flicks. Thinking of breaking into a different genre...lol. I like anything except horror.

I am curious what your que looks like....i assume you add most new releases of whatever genre?
