**** the refs, Brett Veach, Bob, and Andy too

Brett Veach needs to be gone. The team should have known that Berry wasn't going to be able to play a full game. This should have forced Veach to go out and acquire one of the many D backs that were on the market. I do want to say that Berry played pretty damn well when he was out there, but if he was really on a play count I would have rather had him for the second half.

It's pretty obvious that only 2-3 teams would be able to keep up with our offense in a shootout; Pats, Rams, maybe the Saints. Don't get me wrong our offense is the best in the league, but the odds of those teams defenses stopping our offense are better than the odds of our defense stopping those offenses and obviously that is the case because the Rams and Pats both beat us. If we could have gotten just one difference makes that could have broken up a pass or a safety that is able to keep everyone in front of him then we win both of those games.

Now we've had a lot of close games that shouldn't have been close and we just lost a game to a team that is no where near as good as we are (I will admit that the refs had a lot to do with us losing tonight by extending drives). Andy and Bob do a good job at the beginning of a game with play calling, but then when we have a 2 possession lead they both go conservative and that is exactly what other teams want is to do. We go into prevent on D and allow long time consuming drives that keep our offense on the sideline. Our defense can't get a stop when it matters, because we aren't rushing the QB and the safeties are absolute trash that allow teams to convert 3rd and long and eventually score a td. The game is then a 1 possession game and luckily we have Patrick Mahomes, because he is clutch and has been able to take us down the field to score. It finally came back to bite us though because no matter how good Mahomes is, he cant catch his own passes or block for himself. He also cant make a stop at the end of the game, so he has a chance to drive us down the field for a win.

So here's a tl;dr of the **** yous;

Refs - **** you for bull shit drive extending penalties
- **** you for deciding to swallow your whistle
while watching the WR push off of our DB

Brett Veach - **** you for sitting on your ass when you
could have easily improved the secondary
- **** you for your hand picked ILBs who
seem incapable of filling a hole instead of
making a tackle 5 yards down field
- **** you for how the Eric Berry situation
has been handled

Andy Reid - **** you for being such a conservative
pussy.
- **** you for not getting rid of Bob

Bob. - **** you for not knowing how to make an
adjustment
- **** you for continually doing things that
dont work time and time again
- **** you for not retiring, you know Andy
won't fire you
- **** you for being old

If anyone has anything to add feel free to add it.

Veach has a free pass because of Mahomes, he'll be here as long as Carl or when he wants to retire.

Earl Thomas getting hurt before we could trade for him hurt us pretty badly. Who knows he might have gotten hurt here too, but having him in our secondary would be a huge bonus. Especially if Berry is able to actually come back full time.

Yep. Football gods punked us on the Thomas deal. I'm not bailing on Veach whatsoever. All GMs hit and miss on players. He's young. He's done good things. He'll get better. Sutton needs to go. Chiefs need to make a BIG splash at DC. Someone that can identify defensive talent. Someone that can make game time adjustments. Someone that doesn't need to see 5'11" Nelson struggle covering 6'3" Williams eleventy billion times before attempts to make an adjustment.

Why is this on Veach? He doesn't have the authority to force Sutton out. He started overhauling the defense, which takes longer than 1 off season. He's not the one benching the best safety on the team not named Eric Berry for no reason. He's also not the one coaching a team that is up by 14 points with 5 minutes left to play conservative.

Blame coaching, blame the refs and hell, blame the players. But Veach isn't the problem at all regarding this loss.

Veach literally did 1 thing and it wasn't even when he was GM, so who actually knows the amount of influence he had on the decision to draft Mahomes. You can't tell me that Mahomes wasn't on the Chiefs radar until Veach brought him up. Nothing else that he has done has worked out. His draft picks haven't done much, the players he's traded for haven't done much, his free agents have pretty much all sucked. He's missed a ton and the one thing he gets praise for didn't even take place when he was GM. He gave an injury prone WR a ridiculous contract when we didn't really need him.

Oh yeah Earl Thomas. I'm not sure why everyone takes that report as a for sure sign we were going to trade for him. Because I remember the week before he was hurt that it was unlikely that we were going to trade for him, then he gets hurt and all of the sudden it's a completely different story and we were so close to trading for him. Just seems fishy to me and nowadays people throw shit at the wall hoping to be the first to report it. There been plenty of reports that have been wrong over the years; who thought Andy Reid was coming to KC?

There were plenty of other people out there we could have traded for that would have helped a ton and also a couple of FA that would have helped if we wouldn't have threw so much cash at Sammy Watkins.

I just really don't get why people like Brett Veach

Veach is the one who is responsible for bringing talent on the team and has completely whiffed on doing that. I have blamed all of those people too.

Andy has said Veach was the one that put him square on the radar.

Hence, the reason he's GM and Chris Ballard isn't after Dorsey's cap mismanagement.

Supposedly, although Dorsey is the guy with the QB history.
