NFL MVP
Interesting debates on these every year, here's one from ESPN.
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12...demarco-murray Peyton, Rodgers, Brady, Murray, Watt, Luck... Where would you guys lean? I don't know, part of me tends to lean towards Murray quite honestly. I think Peyton's crazy 2013 year hurts the image of what he's done in 2014, especially when compared against the other QBs that are getting all the MVP talk. Peyton's right there with them. Aside from all that, I think it's a pretty even race among the QBs in the discussion... I wouldn't give it Watt, I think my vote with be DeMarco. |

It should be a close vote this year. It's pretty easy to make arguments both for, and against, the likely top 4 contenders.

Luck plays in a horrendous division so I give him less credit. He wouldn't even be considered for me. |

Luck is a true one man gang though. That team around him is pure dog crap. Even worse than Denver's surrounding squad. He has what one less win than jughead?

I still say it's Rodgers pretty easily. That Buffalo game hurt him a bit though

Luck is not a one man gang. That shit is ridiculous.
He's the new ****ing media darling who gets EVERY ****ING EXCUSE in the world. He threw a damn pick 6 to Kendrick Lewis on a terrible throw and almost lost to Tom ****ing Savage. He'll lose, handily, in the 2nd round of the playoffs (if not the 1st) again this year. He's going to be great. He isn't there yet, though. He's an excellent player when his team is down 7+ and the opposing defense, inexplicably, stops being aggressive. Early in games? He's terrible. Would I rather have a guy who's better late than early? Sure. But would I rather have a guy who doesn't constantly put my team in a hole sometimes to deep to dig my way out of? Duh. Luck is a top 7 QB right now. He still is nowhere near Rodgers / Brady or Manning and I'd still take Wilson for 1 year over Luck for 1 year. |

2 games against the Texans. 2 games against the Jaguars. 2 games against the Titans. 1 game against the Redskins. 1 game against the Giants. They lost to the Eagles and Broncos. Got SLAUGHTERED by the Steelers and Patriots. I'd say their only quality wins all year came against the Ravens and Bengals. Maybe not so different than a lot of other teams in the league but I just struggle to be impressed. |

I post that stat with a huge asterisk because I still don't think it's the be all end all, or even close ... but I'm not surprised Andrew Luck is 11th in total QBR. Careless with the ball, still misses easy throws. He'll be great, he's just not great yet. How Joe Flacco is ****ing 5th in that baffles the absolute shit out of me, so I feel like a **** for even posting it, but looking at the top 10, 9 of the names make sense. |

So do the Patriots play in a division that much better than Indy?
And I'm laughing at the comment about the weapons and team surrounding Peyton. Luck is also not a one man gang, damn good, but there is talent in that offense.

Can Rodgers win it as a WC team with 5 losses over the others? Again, how is he vastly superior this year over the others?
