One has to look at this analytically.
Let's take all four backs together. Stylewise it could be said that Johnson is closer to Anderson and Bell is Closer to Holmes. Anyone who would take Anderson over Johnson is foolish. Anyone who would take Bell over Holmes would do so only because of age. Bell has more speed than Holmes but Holmes has proven himself playing within two different systems. Anderson has not shown anything special to separate himself from what appears to be special talents in Johnson; speed, power, and vision. All of which he has more of than Anderson. Include his youth and low-wear and you have a no brainer on that count. Bronc fans would trade Anderson for Johnson in a heartbeat. On the other hand, if you want to compare Holmes with Anderson and Bell with Johnson then there is absolutely no comparison. Holmes is hands down superior to Anderson. Johnson is a specical all-around talent while Bell would have to prove himself in a system that did not accentuate his skills. JMHO. |
