Chiefs/Cowboys tickets
One of my sons mentioned today he would love to go see this game. We are thinking about driving up there Sunday without tickets!! It is a 4 1/2 hour drive for us, I used to do this all the time and just get my tickets from "brokers" outside the stadium for at, or sometimes even lower than face value.... due to health issues I haven't been to a game in over 5 years.... are these "brokers" still selling tix fairly reasonably outside the stadium? Or better yet anyone know of a couple decent and affordable seats for sale?

I don't think you'll get bargain basement deals, but I would be extremely surprised if you couldn't get tickets near face near kickoff.

You're not going to find any tickets outside at the home opener dude. If by some miraculous chance you did they would be double face or more.

Not for this game, tickets are going quite a bit over face value from what I've seen.

I wouldn't just assume you'll find tickets at the stadium. Most games, yeah. But not this one. Tickets on craigslist and such have been double or triple face value, and there's lots and lots of people looking for tickets.

Best bet would be to use Stubhub or Tickets For Less or something..

If you're lucky you'll find someone walking around wanting to sell their tickets.

But it's the home opener and the biggest or one of the most popular games of the season, so I really doubt you're gonna get any "deals".

To be honest, I wouldn't be willing to drive 4.5hrs to see if it works or not. Otherwise you're stuck doing something stupid trying to please your son because you don't want him to feel bad/disappointed.

I've been down there to buy outside for teams like SD, usually not a big deal.

I've also tried it when friends pulled me into it last min vs Pittsburgh, Green Bay, and Dallas. And it was a total waste of time. I wouldn't bother esp with the weather forecast.

George, I have been meaning to thank you... the last game I was able to attend before I started having all these stinkin heart attacks was a Chiefs/Ravens game. Some kid from American Idol was singing the anthem and my daughters were koo-koo over him. You offered to let them come down to your seats and take pictures of him and do all the "teenage girl screaming at heartthrob" stuff. I never really told you how much I appreciated that. A little late, but..... Thanks George, for your hospitality.
