I think Clark gets a pinch of a bad rap. Don't get me wrong. I don't know what his #1 goal is. I'll admit it may very well be just to make $$.
But lets look at the history. When he hired Scott, he shelled out a ton of money for a GM and got the consensus #1 guy out there. No fault in that. He did his part. Looks like it didn't work out. And that's fine. He took his shot. Now it's just time for Clark to try again with a new GM. If he does that, I'll be satisfied that he's trying. If he sticks with Scott, that will completely change my opinion. |

The same Bill Polian that left the Buffalo Bills in shambles, never to recover?
The same Bill Polian that left the Carolina Panthers in shambles? The same Bill Polian that left the Indianapolis Colts in shambles? No ****ing thank you. |

Clark hasn't run the Chiefs long enough for me to say that he's done a terrible job. His first order of business was to remove Peterson from power, which was a good move. His second order of business was to hire the best GM available, which at the time, was Scott Pioli. Can't fault him for that. Lets see what he does next.

Clark failed miserably and did not perform proper due diligence. I can only hope he's learned his lesson. |

Yes it appears now it was a mistake but at the time he was valued by all to be the top GM in the business. Clark did his job. Now if you are the only one who saw it differently, congratulations. I suggest you try to get in the business since you're smarter than everybody else. The fact still remains that Clark hired the #1 guy at the time. It just didn't work out. |

And you know who else is in that exact same spot? Doesn't make the decisions, works for a team where you know exactly who gets credit for the success? Eric DeCosta. You're either on board with that profile or you aren't. |
