Tell me about Springfield, Mo
Recently, there has been some talk with my employer about a position opening up in our Springfield office. This would be a slight pay increase...I am just curious if it would be worth the transfer. There is more opportunity to grow in the new position...however, I am happy with where I am and what I am doing.

So...curious...tell me about Springfield. I grew up in Olathe...currently reside in Spring Hill. What are the 'nice' areas of Springfield...and the areas to avoid?

Born and raised here. Its a good place to raise a family. People are pretty friendly for the most part. There are a lot of bars, but if you smoke you'll have to go to one in one of the suburbs. No good BBQ that I have found...compared to KC anyway. Crosstown used to be good but they've gone downhill. LOTS of Chinese restaurants. One on just about every corner.
