I am a hardcore MU fan, loved watching them beat Johnny football live at the 50yrd line for the last home game. But... I havnt watched one basketball game this year. I knew what was coming. No need to beat myselff up.

That's making a generous statement...to me it was a pitiful win (at home) over a bad team who doesn't even have a full roster.

For every good thing he would do, Ross would screw up 3 things. Clarkson pretty much took over the game and is probably the reason we won. We looked like the "B" squad of a HS Team when it came to Free Throws last night.

It's a good thing MU had a great football season...

Haith just seems to have no idea what to do with these guys. And I don't think this is something new...he got away with it earlier at Mizzou due to the talent and cohesiveness of the 4 seniors playing together. But this year, and last, I just have no confidence whatsoever in his ability to coach.

The scariest thing about it all, when thinking of how bad and absolutely frustrating this team has been, is knowing that it's going to be WAY worse next year when Brown and Clarkson are gone. Good god. I really don't know how my already dwindling interest is going to survive an even worse team. Especially with the direction college basketball is going...it's just not a lot of fun anymore.

Here is a scarier question:

In Haith's tenure, who has actually gotten better other than Brown? Rosburg is the same piece of shit he was last year, Ross is the same player, Pressey was worse as a junior than a sophomore, Jankovic was no better before bolting, Criswell is worse, and J3 and Clark look, in many ways, to have regressed significantly from the beginning of the season.

He's just a bag man promoted up to his level of incompetence.

That's a tough one. He was much better as a freshman than as a sophomore or junior. He was really bad his junior year. He was a better player his senior year, but I don't know if that was really due to Haith. IMO, he just stopped trying to handle the ball and took a lot of open threes thanks to Dixon, Denmon, and Pressey.

Couldn't agree more. I feel like this team is just stuck in limbo until Haith is gone and we get an actual coach who does more than recruit. Sure, we might make the tournament here and there, but the program as a whole is never going to move forward under Haith. And it's unfortunate, because we should be taking advantage of a weaker conference and be a perennial lock for the tourney every year. I wish we would just take our medicine and clean house this offseason. If we suck the next year or two is it really any worse than what we have this year? A team that may sneak into the dance but doesn't deserve it and certainly has NO chance of making noise.
