Someone told me Zepplin and Rush had never won a Grammy? That's incredible.

How often do you hear the same tired music on a classic rock radio station? I love Lynyrd Skynyrd but there is so much out there that never makes it on the air. How bout some Black Oak Arkansas or more CCR. Back when I was in TV and radio we picked our own music and played what we wanted. If we had to take a shit we played Ina Goda Davida for 17 minutes. Now the Program Directors pick the music and it's the same for their whole network of stations. You will hear the same classic rock music in Kansas City that you will hear in Houston if it's the same broadcast group with little to no variation. They push what they want you to buy. |

The public and history will ultimatly decide.
