This makes my Ced Benson keeper option look quite good. Thank you Jets for pulling the trigger.

This either means their trade for the #2 pick fell through or they want Calvin Johnson.

Good move by the Bears. Jones was a great surprise for the franchise, but its time to give Benson his chance.

According to league sources, the Bears have agreed to trade RB Thomas Jones and a 2007 second-round pick (No. 63 overall) to the Jets for a 2007 second-round pick -- No. 37 overall -- which was acquired previously in a trade from Washington, ESPN.com's Michael Smith reported. |

I have Maroney and Benson in my keeper league. Looks like I should keep them.

So Wes Welker is worth a 2nd and a 7th, and Thomas Jones isn't even worth a 2nd... he's just worth swapping 2nd round picks for.
Considering that a lot of Bears fans seem to like Jones more than Benson, I bet quite a few people are up in arms over this one. |

The swap of picks is worth the equivalent of a high 3rd round pick according to the trade chart. I think the Bears got very good value here.

The Bears are reeruned. Benson sucks and if he gets hurt, the Bears no longer have any sort of a running game.

They can just draft another back in the mid rounds and be fine.

Great trade by the Jets..they just traded down in the second round and keep all their draft picks while getting a running back they desperately needed.
I'm happy with it..instead of having the #37 and #63 picks in the second round,it's #59 and #63 in the second round plus Jones.. |

Lots of action so far... I think Jones could be very good with the Jets.
