On to the Main Event. Does Fisher get signed on time?

Now we know where Albert's fate lies for the upcoming season dollar wise. Only one more bit of business to take care of by next week.

Joeckel has signed, so we pretty much know what Fisher's deal has to be better than to get the deal done.

Let's roll Dorsey. No excuse for not getting it done on time.

Hopefully things work out quickly. Fisher is not nearly the bad pick some of you guys make him out to be IMO. There were not a lot of choices. Don't want to hear any Geno Smith bullshit either.

Personally, I would have preferred taking Richardson, Mingo, Jones, Milliner, Rhodes, Manuel (since he was a 1st round QB), Austin, Vaccaro, Werner, Jones, Patterson, Ogletree or Elam than creating a need at RT by releasing a serviceable player in Winston and using 1.1 on it.

Do you really think Fisher is going to play at a higher level than Winston did last year over the next 3 years and do you think that difference is really that great?

Fisher gets all the ladies. Winston looked like chunk from Goonies.

That's the important stuff.

We best be trading up for McCarron then.

Fisher is the kind of guy that can do 3 pancakes, screw a cheerleader and spread mayo all over clay's chin before the whistle blows.

He's that raw kind of talent.

He's so natural that he trims his pubes with callouses from his knuckles that drag on the ground.

I bet he does. Which doesn't say all that much. Winston was not very good last year.

Yes, Winston was so serviceable that teams have been fighting over his services all offseason.

With the rookie salary structures in place, isn't it extremely unlikely he wouldn't get signed on time?

Still wish we had taken Richardson.

Had he not been a huge douche, he probably would have went higher.

It's kind of funny to read opinions of some players and things that happened last year and why they happened, from some posters.

Winston wasn't great last year, so he sucks and couldn't/wouldn't be any better with better coaching, but other guys who weren't good last year, will be much better with better coaching.

Ironic I guess.
